This Friday, November 13, comic book culture collides as Texas Performing Arts welcomes Robert Crumb, Art Spiegelman, and Francoise Mouly to Bass Concert Hall for an art history event of gigantic proportions. Our very own Sanctuary Printshop had the honor of printing the event poster, designed by Allen Quigley of the TXPA. Needless to say, we are excited to be attending on Friday night.

R. Crumb's new illustrated Book of Genesis floored fellow artists and audiences across the country. The massive 5-year project depicts the opening book of the Bible in exact detail and sets a new gold standard for the comic book genre. The talent of those present does not falter with Pulitzer-Prize winner Spiegelman and Mouly, the current art editor of The New Yorker. The night begins at 8 p.m. and promises to be an enticing treat for all audiences. <Click here for tickets>
